It is our goal to help you create that feeling through design that brings beauty and ease to your everyday life. We are drawn to the stories behind the things you love—the furniture passed down, the colors you’ve always gravitated toward, and the little details that make a space yours.
As a wife, mother, and designer with a background in social work, Anna cares as much about how your home supports you as how it looks, by taking the time to understand your family, your routines, and what you need to feel comfortable in your space. Whether we’re reimagining a room or finding a fresh way to use what you already have, our hope is to help you build a home that welcomes you, grows with you, and holds the memories still to come.

Hello, I’m Anna.
In 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, my husband and I received a special needs diagnosis for our son, then two years old. Home became a place of stress and chaos almost overnight, and I realized I didn’t have a single space where I could set the worry down.
I had years of art and design experience and an education in social work, so I started building rooms that answered both at once — how a space looks, and how it makes you feel. It worked. Not perfectly, and not all at once. But it worked.
Six years on, that’s still the whole of what I do: rooms that hold up to real life, built from classic bones and modern pieces, shaped around the people actually living in them.
Today I work three ways. Design Camp, for the afternoon where it clicks. Virtual Design, for a room you want planned from anywhere. And In-Person Design here in West Texas, from a single room to the whole house. Whichever fits, I’m still there for the moment you’re standing in the paint aisle wondering whether the greige is too cold.
We live in Abilene with our two children and two cocker spaniels, Dixie and Fitz.

She makes sure you are a priority, regardless of the project size. She’s timely, responsive, listens to my wants/needs, and great with respecting a budget. It’s also a rare find to have a designer working with a contractor, and sticking around for the entire project to make sure the design comes to life. Cannot recommend enough!!
Anna is a joy to work with! Anna’s design ideas perfectly captured our style, in fact, it was hard to choose between her suggestions. Once the project started, she took care of all the details masterfully from start to finish. As with any reno, there were a few snafus along the way, but Anna took charge, sorted everything out with patience and encouragement, and even kept us on target with the budget. I highly recommend Anna Bouchelle Interior Designs and the entire team Anna put together to make our dreams a reality.
