Hello, I’m Anna.

In 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, my husband and I received a special needs diagnosis for our son, then two years old. Home became a place of stress and chaos almost overnight, and I realized I didn’t have a single space where I could set the worry down.

I had years of art and design experience and an education in social work, so I started building rooms that answered both at once — how a space looks, and how it makes you feel. It worked. Not perfectly, and not all at once. But it worked.

Six years on, that’s still the whole of what I do: rooms that hold up to real life, built from classic bones and modern pieces, shaped around the people actually living in them.

Today I work with families here in West Texas, from Small-Scale Projects to full-service renovations, and with homes anywhere through Virtual Design and Anna on Call. Whichever fits, I’m still there for the moment you’re standing in the paint aisle wondering whether the greige is too cold.

We live in Abilene with our two children and two cocker spaniels, Dixie and Fitz.
